Metaphysical philosophical concept that refers to what is in the meantime.
«METAXU» is an invitation to explore the intermediate spaces, to discover the moments of transcendence that are hidden in the details of existence, to include time in matter. The project invites us to introspection on how we perceive and interpret the world, opening a dialogue between visible and invisible, material and spiritual, life and death, the passage between these two states. Through these frozen moments, the presence of the ineffable is revealed in our daily lives, those fragile and fleeting moments where the ordinary touches the extraordinary.
The series explores the subtle balance between darkness and light. These often opposite elements coexist in harmony, establishing a visual and emotional tension. Marked contrasts and the play of chiaroscuro become metaphors of this duality, representing the opposing forces that coexist in reality and in our appreciation.
The photographs, combined in diptychs and accompanied by texts, create oxymores. This juxtaposition of factors that coexist invites the viewer to question his own perception of the sacred and the profane, to reflect on his beliefs and to consider the boundaries between what is visible and what is felt, to question space-time, life, death.

«METAXU» thus proposes an introspective refraction on the nature of thought, to observe the hidden dimensions of our existence, to find beauty in intervals and to consider the presence of the ineffable in everyday life.
The context of this creation:
In 2020, I lose consciousness once, twice, then the pace accelerates. Medicine sees nothing. Begins a wandering of several months, years. Gradually, I lose the use of speech, I experience a body that no longer responds, left hemiplegia. My days become nights, I am nailed, knocked down, I slowly leave life. Medicine advances, it is a neurological disease causing fake strokes. Like real ones, but the heart is fine. Gradually the treatments relieve me, the attacks are more frequent. The first times I do not recover, I saw myself leaving too much, I want to leave. And then I become the child again, the one included in the hyper-present. By the end of 2023, I am better, the treatments work, I can move again, I can go out again. In the city I was, I seek images that will translate my experience, my questions, my hopes, my despair, my sufferings, my beliefs, I photograph space-time and its contractions.
Recommencer.
