Author and stage director, visual artist, set designer and costume designer, Macha Makeïeff co-created the troupe Les Deschiens and directed for eleven years La Criée, the National Theatre of Marseille.
In 2019, she designed "Trouble fête", an installation, a still piece whose staging consists of objects, costumes, furniture, soft toys, animal skeletons, texts, sounds and lights at the Maison Jean Vilar, in parallel with the creation of her show "Lewis versus Alice" at the Festival d'Avignon.
In 2022, she installed "Trouble fête" at the invitation of the Archdiocese of Aix-en-Provence.
It is during this installation and through a collection of his words that I conceive this sound piece of 19 minutes, Macha why? (Trouble fête)
